School Day

Please note that the school day starts at 8:40am (we encourage students to be on site by 8.30am) and ends at 3:15pm (2:30pm on Fridays).

Student entrance to school

Reminder that, in order to support student supervision, the student gate opens at 8:15am. Students who have boosters that start earlier will be met in reception by their teachers.

Gordon Avenue is no longer an entrance point for students, all students need to come in through the Clarkes Lane entrance.

From 8:15am there will be staff at the gate to welcome and supervise students. Students can buy breakfast in the canteen or take advantage of the free porridge which is available for all students.

All students are encouraged to be on site and moving to tutor rooms from 8.30am. Students must be in tutor rooms by 8.40am.

Tutor time provides an opportunity for a range of areas including assemblies, key messaging, preparation for the day ahead, personal development, reading, intervention and assessment preparation.

Students arriving to tutor after 8.40am are marked as late and will get an automatic after school detention.

Both Gordon Avenue and Clarkes Lane are open and supervised at the end of the school day for students to leave.

Late Gate 8.40am-9.15am

The student entrance gate will be closed. Students arriving after this time will be met in reception by pastoral managers. These students will sign in at reception.
