Instrumental Lessons
We offer a wide range of instrumental lessons at The Phoenix Collegiate. The lessons are funded by the school so that they are accessible to all students.
Our aim is to provide high quality instrumental tuition, offering a wide range of instruments. We work in partnership with Sandwell Music and Arts Service, and Newave, who provide us with talented, professional musicians.
Lessons are held on a weekly basis. The timetable is clearly displayed in the music corridor and messages are added to registers so that teachers are also made aware. The two-week timetable means that students are unlikely to miss the same lesson every week, minimising the disruption to their learning.
It is the student’s responsibility if they are not happy with their lesson time to swap it with another student who is on the timetable. It is also their responsibility to turn up on time, and if they do not turn up or turn up late, then they may lose the opportunity completely.
