On Friday 12th December, some of the students took part in ‘Christmas Jumper Day’, an annual event aimed at raising money for Save the Children. Alongside this, we have been running our own Numeracy competition where students were asked to design a Christmas Jumper with a Maths theme for our own Mr Maths.
We had some fantastic entries. We would like to congratulate Gerrard on the winning entry. A £10 Amazon voucher is on its way to you. Well done! Please see below their design:

Remembrance in Numbers
As part of our remembrance some students in Years 7 and 8 have been looking at some numerical facts for WW1. They had to read large numbers as digits and turn them into a written form. These facts were then recreated on their remembrance poppies.
