Online Safety

Phoenix Collegiate, whilst recognising the value of electronic and online learning, is committed to ensuring the online safety of its students. To assist parents in what can be a worrying minefield of technology and jargon, we are making available the latest publications from Childnet which has recently been translated into eleven additional languages.

Working in collaboration with Sandwell REWIND charity, the school has produced an awareness document to inform parents, carers and community members about the Government programme 'Prevent'.  This document highlights how radicalisation and extremism could affect your child, how you can keep them safe and how you should respond if you have any concerns. Please click here to access the document.

Please note that a representative of our Governing Body also attended the "Safeguarding in a digital world" training course as part of SIPS Governors training programme on 29th September 2016.
